8-string guitar, made in 2010

Another example for an 8-string guitar. This instrument bears some interesting details: At the nut, it’s fitted with a zero-fret. For more playing comfort, a bevel is applied for the right arm. Another specialty is the tuning. The guitar was fitted with an additional high A-string and a low B-string instead of two lower ones. This concept opens huge possibilities regarding fingering.
